Trial version

The trial version lets you translate 30 segments of a source document in one session and works for 30 days.

Follow these steps to install CafeTran on your computer:

1. Install Java

CafeTran requires Java (version 1.5 or higher) to be installed to run. The System Mac OS X has already Java installed and ready to use. If you don't have (do I have Java?) Java:

Download Java Runtime Environment (JRE)

2. Install CafeTran

Download	Run file
CafeTran for Mac OS X	After downloading unzip the file with the system Archive utility in the chosen location and click CafeTran.app to run the program.
CafeTran for Windows	After downloading click CafeTran-install.jar to install the program.
CafeTran for Linux	After downloading unzip the file in the chosen location and run Start.jar or Cafetran.sh. You may need to edit Cafetran.sh file and set the full path to your Start.jar. Here is the example: java -jar /home/igor/tools/cafetran/Start.jar

With some huge resources such as more than 100 MB memories or glossaries, you may need to increase Java maximum RAM memory available for CafeTran. This can be done in program's options (menu Edit | Options | Memory tab | Java memory size (MB)) by increasing the default value from 1024 to 2048, for example. Restart the program to apply the new Java memory settings.

The unlimited version of CafeTran costs 80 EURO (about 100 USD).
